Polypropylene strapping (also called poly strapping) is the most commonly used and least expensive of all strapping materials. It's lightweight, easy to apply, and recyclable. Poly strapping offers high elongation and recovery, but low retained tension. Polypropylene strapping is available in both manual and machine grade and can be sealed with buckles, seals, heat seals, or friction welds.
